Privacy policy

This policy explains what data the Rosaluna Android app and rosaluna.gulayalaoglu.com process, why, and how. Data controller: Gülay Alaoğlu · gulay@gulayalaoglu.com.

1. What the app uses today

• Stored only on your phone: your sound preference, whether notification permission was asked, a random number that makes your Daily Card personal, and whether you opened today's card. This never leaves your phone and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
• Readings are prepared on your phone. Your spread and cards are not sent to a server.
• Notifications: the Daily Card reminder is a local notification scheduled on your phone, not sent from a server.
• Ads: the optional in-depth reading is unlocked with a Google AdMob rewarded ad. Google processes data such as the advertising ID and device and usage information under its own policy to serve and measure ads. Where required, Google's consent form is shown before ads, where you can manage your choices. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
• The app has no accounts, analytics or crash-reporting tools.

2. When launched: personalised spoken readings and purchases

These features are not in the app yet. When they launch, we will process:

• Your first name and question, to prepare your personal reading. Phone numbers, emails, addresses and ID numbers are automatically removed from the question.
• Purchase records via Google Play Billing; we never see your payment details.
• Service providers: Supabase (server and database, European Union), Anthropic (text personalisation, USA), ElevenLabs (voice generation, USA), Google (Play Billing), with the safeguards required by Turkish data protection law (KVKK) for transfers abroad.
• Retention: questions and reading texts are kept for a limited period and then deleted; the period will be published on this page.

3. Website and closed-test list

• If you join the closed test we collect your name, your Google account email and, optionally, your phone brand, only to send the test invitation, and delete them when testing ends. The list is stored on Cloudflare, which hosts this site.
• The site uses no cookies and no visitor tracking. Cloudflare may keep technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security.

4. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to gulay@gulayalaoglu.com. Deletion: Data and account deletion.

5. Children

Rosaluna is for users 18 and over; we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the current version is published here with its date; important changes are also announced in the app.
